2020 The global pandemic outbreak all at once, Trying down pat era that pause and redefine our routine by an intangible force.

Virtual platforms' attraction overwhelming mortal appetency. Social media is a tool like it was for me as a sales associate but then also my buyers as well It was making their lives a lot easier, we were cutting appointment times in half, we were getting orders back really quickly, it was a real immersive experience, you have real buyers coming in to facinate.

It has its own meaning of pursuing them.

“Social media start to dig deeper and deeper down into the brain stem and take over the kid's sense of self-worth and identity." Says by former design ethicist at Google and co-founder of Centre for Humane Technologies  Tristan Harris, "We’re training and conditioning a whole new generation of people that when we are uncomfortable or lonely or uncertain or afraid we have a digital pacifier for ourselves that is kind of atrophying our own ability to deal with that.  "

We have created an entire global generation of people who were raised within a context with the very meaning of communication,
the very meaning of culture, is manipulation.

Therefore, I decided to develop a new approach to media editing that offer less manoeuvre, but a degage impression through interlude of Sensorial components to create an overall senses of storyline that not merely directional, but educational or at least enjoyable.

The Waltz documentary part is inspired by the old pal who introduced that ballroom dance was a dominant part of his pre-quarantine life, Don's demonstration on Viennese Waltz (One of the oldest Walz, Good Luck Folks) followed by professional moves give the whole image of this obsolete social norm, reflect on the modern social contact and arouse the discussion on appropriate social behaviour in-between times. I chose to preserve the voiceover from the documentary mainly because the rhythm matched with variety of shot, and his idea is somewhat synergistic with my theme by stated: "many celebrities think they're going to have an easy time which is very wrong." These arbitrarily added another storyline and it’s meaning to the video that there is no exception when facing such global pandemic.

The Viennese Waltz is symbolic of traditional way of human interaction that contrasts starkly with the cyber world.

As for myself during the quarantine, I moved from Montreal all the way to an islands far west coast.
The distinct views of city and village made me ponder, How are the influences of both mental and morbid crisis impact peoples’ life at different age groups.
The status quo is far from encouraging.
Older generation’s life were threatened at a global scales as Don set forth his surroundings,
Younger generation expierencing not only the reality chanllenges from lock-down but also mentality corroded as weakening self-discipline took place.
Having met Arvin and Don bring the spark of collision between two generations, and made a perfect epitome out of their age groups.
I have also involed chitchat and my photography on the way to balence the interestingness and informativeness. For instance, I encouterd Arvin on the ferry from mainland to island, The mutual affinity on the outlook prompts the chat. After all we have noticed that our ferry was too slow to forward, hence the precipitate part “Going backward” in the end, meanwhile, offer a closure of the dance storyline which is more organized and educational than multistage steam-of-consciousness, shows the necessary steps of Viennese Waltz at a superficial level and provoke thought of instinctive criterion excluding cyberspace.
To keep the audience engaged, Instead of showing low-cost opration all the way, i added source clips of natural landscape, voice of tide to neutralized the wind noise and few overlay effected(1:27/ 3:25) to spice the interview up, The whole idea is to offer a consistency on colour palette and fullfill the storyworld between scene, as well as smooth transition yet visually sanatives.
